A downloadable utility

The Predator Clock was written as a bonus utility program for a Commodore 64 shoot 'em up game I am in the process of writing. Given the extensive time it's been taking to complete the shmup (over a year), I've chosen to release the clock utility separately.

This Commodore 64 utility features a digital display clock with a scrolling star field. Beneath the digital clock is a Predator clock. The numbers (depending on which resource you refer to) should represent an accurate numeric display as seen in the first Predator movie.

Then there's an animated Pac Man clock. The Pac Man clock features a Pac Man for the hours and minutes (one for the 5/10 minutes mark and one for the remainder). The Pac Man will adjust every minute as the time changes by either eating or regurgitating(?) the dots.

You can set an alarm, toggle star field, change colours, and more.

The program is free although donations are appreciated. You certainly don't have to pay to use it. It's written in 100% machine language. Source code may be released in the future.

Tested under CCS64 and Vice.

Thanks for this, very nice. I also enjoyed your tutorial on"how to link koala pictures to commodore 64 files", a little while ago. I made a small contribution. Thanks again, keep up the good work.

Thank you so much!

Very creative!  If you ever do a v2 of the clock, would you be able to work in more controls for the alarm?  Like being able to change it once the clock is running?  Even put power-pills where the alarm is set on the Pac-Man time line! :D
